Mr. Robert Barton Potter

Mr. Robert Barton Potter, age 85 of Manchester departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2016 at his home. He was born on Sunday, October 5, 1930 in Manchester to the union of James and Carrie White Potter. He was a clerk for the CSX Railroad Company, a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army where he served in Germany.

He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Janet Lynn Phillips and her husband James Robert Phillips, his son: Robert Barton Potter, Jr., his friend: Sybil Smith, his sister: Betty Garrison and her husband: James, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: James and Carrie Potter, his wife: Christine Potter, and his sisters: Nancy Turner, Martha Mae Potter, and Virginia "Susie" McCarty.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Barton Potter will be held on Friday, June 10, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ken Bolin and Rev. Buck Ryan will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held on Friday after 11:30 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
