Mr. Robert C. "Robby" Baker

Mr. Robert C. "Robby" Baker, age 70, passed away Friday, May 27th, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born August 6th, 1940 in Owsley County, Kentucky to the union of Letcher and Bessie Roberts Baker. He was a car salesman, a veteran of the U. S. Army, a 32nd degree Mason, an Oleika Shriner, and a member of the Oneida Community Church.

He is survived by his wife: Phyllis, his children: Charles David Baker and his wife Brandy of Manchester, Paula Baker Stefanovich of Lexington, Kentucky, and Micki Baker Williams and husband Brian of Manchester. Also surviving are these grandchildren: Johnna Bray of Chicago, Illinois, Jordan Bray of Louisville, Kentucky, and Charlee Paige Baker of Manchester, and these sisters and brother: Elizabeth Couch and her husband Troy of Brutus, Margaret Youtsey of Burning Springs, and Paul C. Baker of Newport, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Letcher and Bessie Baker, and 1 brother: Harlan Baker.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert C. "Robby" Baker will be Wednesday, June 1st, 2011 at 11 AM at the Oneida Community Church. Rev. Jessie Baker, Rev. Charles Woods, and Rev. Joey Burns will be officiating. A Masonic Service will be held immediately after the funeral service at the church. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in the Brutus Community with a full military honors service.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31st, from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
