Mr. Richard Shoupe

Richard Shoupe, 82 of Manchester KY passed away May 5th 2016 at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington Kentucky. He was an Army veteran. Spent the majority of his adult life working in the Detroit Michigan area. He returned to his birth area after marrying his present wife, Kathy. Richard fathered Pamela (Bruce) Thompson, New Baltimore, MI; Nicolas (Kimberly) Holley, Hurst, TX; Sherry (Raymond Lee Jones) Shoupe, London, KY; Deanna (Michael) O'Donnell, Canton, MI; and Shawn Shoupe, Manchester, KY. At his bedside was Thelma Shoupe, Canton, MI and Deanna and Michael O'Donnell Canton, MI. He is also survived by his brother - Johnny Shoupe, London and sisters - Norma Rios, Curry Branch, Layuna Chastain, Tampa FL and Anna Dees, Burning Springs. His legacy is alive through the lives of his 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Lindy Shoupe, Myrtle Shoupe, Three Brothers, Sherman Shoupe Jr, Ed Smith and Daniel Shoupe and two sisters Judy Shoupe and Verna Lay Philpot.

A memorial service will be held at the Shoupe Cemetery at Curry Branch.
