Mr. Oscar Wolfe

Mr. Oscar Wolfe, age 86 of Upper Rader Road in Manchester, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 15th, 2010 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born March 14th, 1923 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Robert and Sarah Robinson Wolfe. He was retired from the Kentucky Department of Highways, a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force where he served in World War II, and he was a member of the Island Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Lou Wolfe of Manchester, and these children: Juanita Reid and husband Bobby of Manchester, Laura Fields and husband Harold of Manchester, Betty Wilder and husband Jimmy of Taylor, Michigan, Linda Rawlings and husband Eugene of Manchester, and Marty Wolfe and wife Penny of Manchester. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and a special friend: Betty McClure.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Sarah Wolfe, and his brother Buford Wolfe.

Funeral Services for Mr. Oscar Wolfe will be Thursday, February 18th, 2010 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Grigsby and Rev. Wendell Carmack will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Laurel Creek Community.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
