Mr. Norman Harris, age 83 of Manchester, departed this life on Saturday, January 09, 2016 at his home. He was born October 12, 1932 in Clay County, Kentucky to Jim and Goldie (Smith) Harris. He worked at the vocational school as a teacher and he was a TV repairman. He served in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Shelby Jean (Webb) Harris and these children: James Norman Harris, Sandy Bowling, Pam Howard and Michelle Harris.

Also, surviving are these grandchildren: Kristy Gray, Jamie Riley, Josh Bowling, Jeremy Bowling, Jonathan Henson, Emily Henson, and Lindsay Burns; and these great grandchildren: Jacob Gray, Haley Beth Gray, Brentley Riley, Maxx Riley, Kyelynn Riley, Harper Bowling, Samuel Bowling, Faith Bowling, Kyla Henson, and Katheryn Henson; also surviving are these sister and brothers: Leo Jones, Cloyd Harris, Leeford Harris, and Billy Wayne Harris. He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Goldie Harris; 1 brother: Harold Harris and 2 infant sisters.

Funeral services for Mr. Norman Harris will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Josh and Jeremy Bowling will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery in the Paces Creek Community.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 10, 2016 after 7:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
