Mr. Monroe Roark

Mr. Monroe Roark age 72 departed this life on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the home of Glenn and Kathy Roark. He was born on Saturday, May 15, 1943 in Clay County, Kentucky to Albert and Bessie Taylor Roark. He worked in the railroad painting boxcars.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Sherry Henson, Glenn Roark and his wife Kathy, Calvin Roark and his wife Stephanie, Tina Hacker and Caleb Smith, and Monroe Roark, Jr. and Jessica. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and his sister: Mildred Roberts of Manchester.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Bessie Roark, his wife: Evelyn Roark, his daughter: Christy Conway, and these brothers and sisters: Willie Roark, Leon Roark, Vernon Roark, Woodrow Roark, James Roark, and Kitty Gray.

Funeral Services for Mr. Monroe Roark will be conducted on Tuesday, October 20 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sill Lee will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Goose Rock Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.

Visitation will be on Monday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
