Mr. Millard Day

Mr. Millard Day, age 95 of Manchester, departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, August 30, 1921 in Manchester to Greene and Vina Dean Day. He was a farmer and a veteran of the United States Army where he served in World War II.

He leaves to mourn his passing his sons: Kenneth Day and Joe Day, several grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, a very special nephew: Marion Spurlock, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Greene and Vina Day, his wife: Margaret Allen Day, his son: Paul Day, his daughter: Brenda Day Smith, his granddaughter: Margaret Ann Day, and these brothers and sisters: Elbert Day, Walter Day, Rosa Johnson, Zella Muncy, Minnie Webb, and Mary Moore.

The Family wishes to say thank you to the Laurel Creek Health Caren Center for Millard's Care.

Graveside services for Mr. Millard Day will be conducted on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 2 PM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
