Mr. Michael Dale Hendren, age 62 of Mount Washington was born July 5th, 1947 to the late August and Eleanor Merriman Hendren and returned to his Heavenly Father on January 8th, 2010. Mr. Hendren was a retired US Army Veteran where he served in the Vietnam War, a member of the Baptist Church, a member of American Legion Shawnee Post #100 and a life member of Disabled American Veterans.
Among those who preceded him in death include his parents; sister: Virginia Hendren, and a grandson: Michael Joseph Hendren.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife: Martha Rose Hooker Hendren, daughter: Mary E. Hill; son: Michael T. Hendren and his wife April; sisters: Addie Porter, Janice Meany, and Donna Sue Sanders; brothers: Charles and Richard Hendren; grandchildren, Haley Nicole, Anthony Trenton, Clayton Lane, Landon Michael, Kandace Kay, Michaela Lorraine, and Kaden Thomas; a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, at 10 AM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky.
Graveside Services will be in the Hooker Family Cemetery in the Blue Hole Community of Clay County, Kentucky on Tuesday, December 12th, at 2 PM
Visitation will be from 10 AM until 8 PM on Monday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home.
Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
