Mr. Lester Jackson

Mr. Lester Jackson, age 71 of Manchester departed this life on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the residence of his son and daughter-in-law, James and Heather Jackson. He was born on September 23, 1944 in Clay County, KY to A. C. and Delora Jackson. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Certainteed.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Nancy Pearl (Dezarn) Jackson and these children: Michelle Lewis and husband Doug, Lester Eugene Jackson and Laura Eversole, and James Jackson and wife Heather; and these grandchildren: Matthew Jackson, Morgan Jackson, Tyler Jones, Kelsey Boyd, Olivia Jackson and Aiden Jackson and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Gladys McCarty, Wanda Grubbs and husband Jerry, Orie Jackson and wife Anna Jo, Bernice Shelton and husband Sonnie, Dexter Jackson and wife Anna Lou, Judy Wehmiller and husband Terry, Clyde Jackson and Gail, and A. C. Jackson, Jr. and wife Sandy.

He is preceded in death by his parents: A. C. and Delora Jackson and 1 sister: Joyce Reed.

Funeral Services for Mr. Lester Jackson will be conducted on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bobby Stevens will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
