Mr. Leonard "Jeep" Martin, Jr

Mr. Leonard “Jeep” Martin, Jr., age 76 of London, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born September 13, 1935 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Leonard and Lucy Turner Martin. He was a retired electronics technician for the Robins Air force Base in Warner Robbins, Georgia, and a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife: Erlene Martin of London, his daughter: Gail Warber of London, 1 grandson: Alex Warber, and 3 great granddaughters Alexis Warber, Camille Gaskin, and Shada Harmon. Also surviving are these siblings: Marie Whitehead of London, Doris Cottongim of East Manchester, and Charles E. Martin of Manchester.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Lucy Martin, and these siblings: Olzie Bowling, Tom Martin, Pleas Martin, Naomi Mills, Paul Martin, Evelyn Davidson, and Mable Brumley.

Funeral Services for Mr. Leonard “Jeep” Martin will be conducted on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charlie Martin will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Friday, June 29, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
