Mr. Kermit Carl Sams

Mr. Kermit Carl Sams, age 71 of Booneville departed this life on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, March 2, 1947 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Raymond and Pearl Eversole Sams. He was a retired plumber and electrician and was a member of the Church of God Worship Center.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Connie Smith Sams, and his children: Myra Sams Frost, Carl Wayne Sams, and Crystal Million Gumm. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Kristen Frost, Karla Jo Frost, Matthew Jeffrey Frost, and Logan Joseph Michael Gumm, his brother: James Sams and his wife Linda and his sister: Beulah Sams Donnoe.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Pearl Sams and these brothers and sisters: Jessie Sams, Frankie Sams, Harvey Sams, Lucy Deaton and Dora Smith.

Funeral Services for Mr. Kermit Carl Sams will be conducted on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 2 PM at the Church of God Worship Center. Rev. Brad Stevens and Rev. Joey Burns will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Shepherd Cemetery in Booneville, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening after 6 PM at the Church of God Worship Center.
