Mr. John Henry Lawson

Mr. John Henry Lawson, age 54 of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born May 29th, 1957 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of Doc and Retha Wagers Lawson.

He is survived by his wife: Helen Wagers Lawson, his step-son: Anthony Wagers, his father: Doc Lawson, 19 nieces and nephews, and these brothers and sisters: Lonnie Lawson, Donnie Lawson, Arvis Lawson, Helen Bowling, Carrie Sams, Barbara Hensley, and Tina Lawson all of Manchester.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Retha Lawson, 2 daughters: Sally Lawson and Connie Lawson, and 1 brother.

Funeral Services for Mr. John Henry Lawson will be held on Sunday, January 15th, 2012 at 2 PM at the Big Creek Holiness Church. Rev. Sill Lee will be officiating. Burial will be in the Cradle Bow Cemetery in the Sexton Creek Community.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 14th, after 6 PM at the Big Creek Holiness Church.
