Mr. J. E. Hensley

Mr. J. E. Hensley, age 77 of Manchester, passed away Sunday, January 2nd, 2011 at the Cornerstone Hospice Center in Tavares, Florida. He was born Monday, March 20th, 1933 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Ed and Lettie Webb Hensley. He was a retired Coal Operator, a member of the Manchester Baptist Church, a veteran of the U. S. Army, and a member of Clay Masonic Lodge #798.

He is survived by his wife: Faye Robertson Hensley of Manchester, his son: Denny Hensley of Manchester, and his grandsons: Andrew Hensley and Alex Hensley.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Ed and Lettie Hensley, his sister: B. J. Hensley and his brother: John Riley Hensley.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Manchester Baptist Church, Gideon’s International, or the American Heart Association.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 6th, 2011 at 7 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Allen Roberts will be officiating.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 7th, at 8 AM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6th, from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
