Mr. Greene Lunsford

Mr. Greene Lunsford, age 75 of Reed Branch departed this life on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at his home. He was born on Wednesday, May 8, 1940 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Chester Arthor and Bertha Sams Lunsford. He worked in land surveying and was affiliated with the Antipast Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Rosetta Byrd Lunsford, the following children: Joyce Johnson and her husband William, Eunice Harris and her husband Harold, Patricia Hudson and Bobby Smith, Charlotte Sizemore and her husband Dennie, Charles Dykes and his wife Amber, Annie Davidson and her husband Ronnie, Stephen Dykes and his wife April, and Ashley Dykes. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a special friend: Henry Hudson and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Chester Arthor and Bertha Lunsford, his grandson: Trevor Dykes, step mother: Ada Lunsford, brother: John Lunsford, and his sisters: Rachel Hensley and Louisa Sams.

Funeral Services for Mr. Greene Lunsford will be conducted on Thursday, December 17, at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim Smith and Rev. Jerry Rice will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Byrd Cemetery in the Reed Branch Community.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
