Mr. George Claborn Cupp

Mr. George Claborn Cupp was born December 18th, 1933 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Ethel Philpot Cupp and Verlon Cupp. He departed this life on Saturday, February 12th, 2011, being 77 years, one month, and 25 days of age.

George is survived by his wife of 46 years: Shirley; two sisters: Zella Maggard of Burning Springs, Kentucky and Rachel Chesnut. He was preceded in death by his parents; these brothers: Inmon Cupp, Herbert Lee Cupp, Alonzo Cupp, and Norton Cupp, these sisters: Kate Saylor, Viola Hollen, Ellen Durham, and Zola Bowling.

George was a long time member and deacon at the Little Goose United Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends who loved him.

Funeral Services for Mr. George Claborn Cupp will be held on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 at 11 A.M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Freddie Lee Harris will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Proffitt Cemetery in the Little Goose Community.

Visitation will be Monday, February 14th, from 6 PM until 9:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

Rominger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
