Mr. Eugene Rawlings

Mr. Eugene Rawlings, age 66 of Manchester, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home. He was born on Sunday, February 12, 1950 in Hamilton, Ohio to the union of M.G. and Lola Thompson Rawlings. He worked in the coal mines and was a security guard for T & T Security and was a member of the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Linda Wolfe Rawlings, his children: Eugene "Boxhead" Rawlings, Jr., Anthony Rawlings, Jason Rawlings and his wife: Stephanie, and Natasha Rawlings. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Hunter, Dalton, Danica, Ezra, and Bradley Rawlings, and his brothers and sisters: Kenneth Rawlings and his wife Helen, Rita Sandlin, Mary Brown and her husband Russell, John Rawlings and his wife Trish, and Tammy Thompson and her husband Danny, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: M.G. and Lola Rawlings, his sister: Patricia Rawlings, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Oscar and Lou Wolfe.

Funeral Services for Mr. Eugene Rawlings will be conducted on Wednesday, November 2, at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Grigsby and Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Gabbard's Fork Community.

Visitation will be on Tuesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
