Mr. Eli Marcum

Mr. Eli Marcum, age 62 of Hima was born on October 3, 1950 in Clay County, Kentucky. He was a truck driver and a veteran of Vietnam where he served in the U. S. Army.

He is survived by his children: Lena Curry, David Marcum, Sarah Spurlock, John Kyle Marcum, Clay Gregory, John Gilbert Marcum, Eli Marcum, Jr., and LaShay Marcum. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Anthony Curry, Stephanie Curry, Grayson Marcum, and Paul Curry, and his special great granddaughter: Helena Wilson and two sisters survive: Ruby Roberts and Elizabeth Newman.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Mena Davis Marcum Massey, his father: Eli “Dick” Marcum, his grandmother: Ellen Marcum, and these sisters and brother: Tina Marie Marcum Hoskins, Judy Marcum Jewell, and Gilbert Marcum Downey.

Funeral Services for Mr. Eli Marcum will be on Saturday, December 15, at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Roberts will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery in the Curry Branch Community.

Visitation will be Friday, December 14, from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
