Mr. Earnest Martin

Mr. Earnest Martin, age 88 was born on Thursday, February 17, 1927 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Chester and Della Davidson Martin. He departed this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Veterans Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was a farmer and a veteran of the United States Army where he served in World War II.

He leaves to mourn his passing his son: Harris W. Martin and his wife Michelle, his grandchildren: Cynthia Bowling and her husband: Ernie, Harris Dewayne Martin, and Brian Goss and his wife: Stephanie. Also surviving is his great granddaughter: Katelyn Goss, his daughter-in-law: Ruby Martin, and these brothers and sisters: Rev. Jessie Martin and his wife Essie of London, Robert Martin and his wife Ruth of Indiana, Ray Martin and his wife Connie of Oneida, Carl Martin and his wife Orvalene of Ohio, Ruby Sizemore of Oneida, Edith and Rev. Earl Davidson of Nancy, Kentucky, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Della Martin, his wife: Lula, his son: James Martin and his sister: Martha Barger.

Funeral Services for Mr. Earnest Martin will be conducted on Thursday, April 16 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Carl Brown and Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Section of the Fairview Cemetery in the Bullskin Community.

Visitation will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
