Mr. Donald Lee "Kansas City" Jackson

Mr. Donald Lee “Kansas City” Jackson, age 68 of Manchester departed this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 11, 1946 in Richmond, Indiana to Orstel and Dorothy Hubbard Jackson. He was a coal miner for James River Coal Co. and a member of the Jack’s Branch Bible Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing these brothers and sisters: Elbert Jackson, Bonnie Northern Jackson, Rosetta Rarrieck, Irene Barrett, Charles Jackson, Carl Jackson and Jessie Rogers and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Orstel and Dorothy Jackson; and these children: Doan Geanena Jackson, Teresa Lynn Jackson, Donnie Ray Jackson and 1 sister: Linda Smith.

Funeral Services for Mr. Donald Lee Jackson will be conducted on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 2 PM at the Jack’s Branch Bible Church. Rev. Jim Smith and Rev. Jessie Kemp will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Enjine Cemetery in the Blue Hole Community.

Visitation will be held on Saturday evening after 7 PM at the Jack’s Branch Bible Church.
