Mr. David Stewart

Mr. David Stewart, age 57 of Lockards Creek, passed away Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born December 24th, 1952 in Clay County, Kentucky to Cloyd Stewart and Stella Smith Harris. He was a carpenter and a member of the holiness church.

He is survived by his wife: Brenda Hubbard Stewart of Lockards Creek and these children: Linda Mae Williams and husband Randall of Paces Creek, Russell Dean Stewart and wife Laura Mae of Chop Bottom, and David Wayne Hubbard and wife Vickie of Chop Bottom. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and these brothers and sisters: Ellie Falls of Bales Creek, Joyce Wagers of Barbourville, Willie Mae Rogers of North Carolina, and Jessie Stewart of Fogertown.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Cloyd Stewart and Stella Harris and 2 sons: Jessie Lane Stewart and Dennis Stewart.

Funeral Services for Mr. David Stewart will be Tuesday, May 11th, 2010 at 1 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church. Rev. George David Blair, Rev. Roscoe Roark, Rev. Jessie Henson, and Rev. Robert Hatton will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Bishop-Falls Cemetery in the Morgan Branch Community.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 9th after 7:30 PM and on Monday, May 10th, at the Hopewell Baptist Church.
