Mr. D. Fred Rominger

Mr. D. Fred Rominger, age 60 of Richmond Road in Manchester, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 27th, 2009 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born October 9, 1948 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of C. Fred & Minva Shrewsbury Rominger. He was co-owner of the Rominger Funeral Home of Manchester, Kentucky. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1970 & became a 3rd generation licensed funeral director & embalmer in 1972. He was a member & elder of the Greenbriar Presbyterian Church, a member & past master of the Clay Masonic Lodge #798, & a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by his daughter: Tara Ruth Rominger of Greenbriar, his son: Wesley Paul Rominger of Greenbriar, the mother of his children: Paula Crawford Rominger, 2 grandchildren: Wesley Manning & Faith Rominger, his sister: Marsha R. Stivers of Greenbriar, 1 nephew: Kent Stivers, & 2 nieces: Shannon Magee & Whitney Arnett.

Funeral Services for Mr. D. Fred Rominger will be Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 at 8 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson & Rev. Tim Rogers will be officiating. Burial will be on Wednesday, September 30th, at 1 PM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 29th, after 5 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
