Mr. Clyde Turner, age 75 of Curry Branch departed this life on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Hyden Manor Nursing Home in Hyden, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, December 3, 1939 in Clay County. He was a member of the Holiness Church and retired from the Department of Highways Road Crew and worked in Pipe Line Construction.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Cora Curry Turner, his biological daughter: Sherri Turner Martin and her husband: Fred Feltner, his grandchildren that he loved as his own children: Kenneth Tyler and Tyson Andrew Martin, Amy Nicole Cottrell that he raised as his own child, his son: Eugene Wagers, daughter Linda , both of Indiana, his step children that he loved as his own: Christine Roberts and her husband George, Vernon Lee Cottrell of London, Shelia Cottrell of London, adopted daughter: Kyre Tyner, step son: James Stanley Cottrell of Manchester, grandchildren: Nathan and Amanda Roberts, Christopher Cottrell, 4 great granddaughters, and these brothers and sisters: Bill Turner of Manchester, T. J. Turner of Manchester, Robert Turner of Manchester, Elizabeth Kordish of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Naomi Wright of Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents: William Rebel and Lucy Turner, his son: Jeffrey Turner, and his sisters: Erma Jean Davidson and Rosetta Jones.
Funeral Services for Mr. Clyde Turner will be conducted on Saturday, November 14 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rick Holt and Rev. George Roberts will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Harts Branch Cemetery in the Beech Creek Community. Visitation will be on Friday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
