Melvin Wagers

Mr. Melvin Wagers, age 67 of Manchester, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 9th, 2009 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. He was born August 26th, 1941 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of Jimmy & Mattie Jo Mitchell Wagers. He was a mine inspector for 27 years, a veteran of the U.S. Army, & a member of the Clay Masonic Lodge #798.

He is survived by his wife: Charlotte Reynolds Wagers of Manchester, his daughter: Melanie Nicole Wagers of Manchester, one grandson: Matthew Conner Melvin Wagers, & these sisters & brother: Emma Lou Murray & husband Bobby of Manchester, Cledith Crawford & husband Roy of London, & Rev. Curtis Wagers & wife Lois of London.

Funeral Services for Mr. Melvin Wagers will be Monday, January 12th, 2009 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roy Crawford & Rev. Wayne House will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 11th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
