Larry D. Baker

Larry D. Baker, age 76 departed this life on Friday, April 4, 2025 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Monday, October 4, 1948 in Manchester, Kentucky to Matt and Lottie Spurlock Baker. He was a truck driver, worked in a factory and attended the Calvary Pentecostal Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of almost 53 years: Loretta Campbell Baker, his beloved daughter: Melinda Baker Compton and her husband Brad and his precious grandson: Cason Scott Compton. Also surviving is his sister: Gail Baker, his brother-in-law: Roger Gilbert and his sister-in-law: Lynda Gilbert.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Matt and Lottie Baker.

Funeral Services for Larry D. Baker will be conducted on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bufford Hooker will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
