Johnny Robert Bishop

Mr. Johnny Robert Bishop age 67 departed this life on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Saint Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky.  He was born Sunday, August 12, 1951 in Oneida, Kentucky to the union of Hubert and Gracie Byrd Bishop.  He was a bus driver for the Clay County Board of Education.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Shelia Roberts Bishop, his children: Jesse Taylor Bishop, Johnny Cam Bishop and Melissa Ann Metcalf, 7 grandchildren: Bonnie Marie Bishop, Jonah Bishop, Jonathan Bishop, Cameron Metcalf, Joseph Bishop, Jeremiah Bishop and Anna Bishop.  Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Albert Bishop, Teresa Pendergrass, Bobby Edwards and Danny Edwards and his former wife: Bonnie Bishop.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Hubert and Gracie Bishop and his sister: Martha Robinson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny Robert Bishop will be conducted on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Henry Lloyd Deaton and Rev. Shelby Deaton will be presiding.  Interment will follow in the Wilson Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community.

Visitation will be held on Thursday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
