Joe Sizemore

Mr. Joe Sizemore, age 76 of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born April 25th, 1932 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Frank & Ethel Church Sizemore. He was a retired coal miner, and a member of the Grace Baptist Tabernacle.

He is survived by his daughters: Barbara S. Harmon & husband William of Pike County, Kentucky & Shirley S. Hensley and husband Marvin of Pike County, Kentucky. Also surviving is a special daughter-in-law: Jo Ann Sizemore of Manchester, 6 grandchildren: Rene Slone, Joseph Slone, Tabitha Sizemore, Susan Sizemore, Alan Hensley, & Ena Thompson, 3 great grandchildren: Joelene Marcum, Malachi Slone, & Kylie Hensley, 1 sister: Archie Couch of Manchester, & one brother: Delbert Sizemore of Manchester, & a host of dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Frank & Ethel Church Sizemore, his wife: Elizabeth Sizemore, his son: Joel Thomas Sizemore, & these brothers: Daniel Sizemore, Paul Sizemore, Harlan Sizemore, Austin Sizemore, & Orville Sizemore.

Funeral Services for Mr. Joe Sizemore will be Friday, February 6th, 2009 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. J. C. Stevens will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Pennington Hill Cemetery in the Pennington Hill Community.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 5th, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
