Joe Tom Gregory

Mr. Joe Tom Gregory, age 74 of Crawfish Road in Manchester, passed away Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born July 25th, 1934 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Edd & Kate White Gregory. He was a retired businessman, a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church, & a member of the Bush Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Ruth Gregory of Manchester, his son: Gary Gregory & wife Patty of Hima, & his daughter: Glenna Hughes & husband Wilbert Dee of London. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren: Joseph Keith Nicholson & wife Kelly, Jonah Gregory & friend Linsey Maricle, & Lindsey Marie Gregory, 4 step granddaughters: Heather & Courtney Gross, Cynthia Kaye Carnes & Carla Sue Hinkle, 1 great granddaughter: Mary Jo Gregory, & 1 brother: Jim Hatfield of Manchester.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Edd & Kate Gregory, & 2 sisters: Ruth Hacker & Blanche Massey.

Funeral Services for Mr. Joe Tom Gregory will be Wednesday, May 27th, 2009 at 2 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Anthony Lovett will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Edd Gregory Family Cemetery in the Hima Community.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26th, after 6 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
