Janet M. Potter, age 83 of Lexington, formerly of Manchester, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at the St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born January 23rd, 1927 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of John D. and Cleo M. Cotton Potter. She was a member of the St. Paul AME Church of Lexington and a housekeeper.
She is survived by her sisters: Dorothy Lyttle of Lexington, Kentucky, Margary Potter of Lexington, Kentucky, Margaret Love of Lexington, her brothers: Troy (Wilma) Potter of Lexington, Kentucky, and Eugene (Nan) Potter of Lexington, Kentucky, two brothers-in-law: Philmore Walker of Lexington and Charlie Lyttle of Louisville, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: John D. and Cleo M. Potter, and her sisters: Ada Lyttle of Manchester, Kentucky, Launa Walker of Lexington, Kentucky, and Emma Mae Crowley of Barbourville, Kentucky.
Funeral Services for Janet M. Potter will be Thursday, May 6th, 2010 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel in Manchester, Kentucky. Rev. Troy Thomas will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens in Manchester, Kentucky.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 6th, after 12 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel in Manchester, Kentucky.
