Janet Kay Hibbard

Janet Kay Hibbard, age 66 of London went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, October 1, 2023 at her home with her son and her mother.  She was born on Monday, December 3, 1956 in Corbin, Kentucky to Russell and Ruby Stanfill Hibbard.  She was a Special Ed Teacher in Jackson County for 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her father: Russell Hibbard, 2 brothers: Floyd Hibbard and Larry Wayne Hibbard, her sister: Rhonda Marcum, her nieces: Sherry Lynn Marcum, Charlotte Hibbard and Tabatha Hibbard and her nephew: David Hibbard.

She leaves to celebrate her life her son: Brent Hibbard and his wife Jennifer, her step granddaughters: Makayla Gray and Dakota Gray, her mother: Ruby Hibbard and her brother: Russell “Bubby” Hibbard, Jr., her nephews: James R. Marcum, Christopher Meadows, Johnny Russell Farmer, Gregory N. Hibbard and Scott Hibbard, her nieces: Chrissy Hibbard and Kisha Hibbard as well as her special nephews: Jacob Marcum and Ethan Marcum as well as her special friends: Brenda House Rice, Teresa Keith Roberts, Jennifer Garrison and Carol Sue Massey and a host of other family and friends.

Services for Janet Kay Hibbard will be conducted on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 7:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
