Mr. James E. Reynolds, age 76 departed this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Tuesday, June 8, 1943 in Big Creek, Kentucky to the union of G. B. and Susan Collins Reynolds. He was a coal miner and a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness and was devout in his faith.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Evelyn Lewis Reynolds, his children: Teresa Smith and Randolph, Mary Napier and Sam, Margaret Herron and Cassandra, Ellen Bingham and Buddy, Becky Petrey and Jeremy, Melissa Smith, Angela Henson and Ronnie, James Richard Reynolds and Angie and William James Edward Smith, as well as 9 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 2 nephews: Elmer Bowling, Jr. and Rusty Reynolds, 3 nieces: Carla Reynolds, Jamie Hoskins and Bonnie Carpenter and his friend and fishing buddy: Gary Vickers.
He is preceded in death by his parents: G. B. and Susan Reynolds, his brother: Carl Reynolds and his sisters: Katherine Ruth Hoskins and Elizabeth Smith.
A celebration of life for Mr. James E. Reynolds will be conducted on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Lewis Cemetery in the Cotton Bend Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
