James “Jim” Hughes, age 81 of Kennesaw, Georgia formerly of Manchester passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born on Sunday, July 4, 1943 in Manchester, Kentucky to John L. and Maggie Adkins Hughes. He was a school bus driver.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Tamera “Michelle” Hughes Davis, James “Michael” Mills and Jamie Hughes as well as his siblings: Fred Hughes, Ken Hughes, Dwight Hughes and MaryAnn Hughes Calloway.
He is preceded in death by his parents: John L. and Maggie Hughes and his brother: Johnny Hughes.
Graveside Services for James “Jim” Hughes will be conducted on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery in the Fogertown Community. Rev. Barry Hubbard will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the Fogertown Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
