Goldie Griffin

Goldie Griffin, age 63 of Manchester departed this life on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at her home. She was born on Monday, October 26, 1953 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Roy McKinney and Nancy Ann Benge Cox. She was a homemaker and a member of the Well Pentecostal Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Karen Smith and her husband Joe, Travis Wayne Buttrey and Kimberly Marie, Tracey Lynn Nunn and her husband Sam, and Dale Buttrey and his wife Dawn. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Nathan Hacker, McKinley Downey, Cody Hoskins, Travis Wayne Buttrey, Jr., Taybreeanna Buttrey, Raelynn Nunn, and Dale Alan Buttrey, her special friend: Elbert Mitchell and these brothers and sisters: Roy Oval Cox, Squire Edward Cox, Inez Smith and her husband Larkin, Della Dell and Bernice Cox.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Nancy Cox, her son: Delbert Wayne Hacker, her sister: Jewel Cox Huerth and her grandchildren: Tasia Marie Buttrey, Trevon Buttrey, and Raynie Ladawn Buttrey.

Funeral Services for Goldie Griffin will be conducted on Thursday, November 10 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roger Miller, Rev. Cecil Benge, Rev. Jessie Henson, and Rev. Scott Kilborn will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
