Gilbert Darrell Jarvis

Mr. Gilbert Darrell Jarvis, age 59, of Paw Paw Road in Manchester passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at his home. He was an auto parts salesman at CarQuest and a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.

He leaves surviving his wife, Julia. Also, surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Hester Parker of Middletown, Ohio; Arnold Jarvis, Arvil Jarvis, Helen White, and Launa Childers all of Manchester; Hallie Salzbrenner of Colorado.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Clay County Cancer Coalition or Gideon’s International.

Funeral services for Mr. Gilbert Darrell Jarvis will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Lovett officiating. Burial will follow in Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday, January 17th, after 6 PM at the church.
