Faye Murphy Edwards

Faye Murphy Edwards, age 80 passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  She was born on Thursday, February 18, 1943 in Manchester to Cecil and June (Mills) Murphy.  She retired from Standard Products.

She is survived by her husband:  Newman Gordon Edwards; her children:  Joseph Barboa, and Lori LeAnne Eidson; grandchildren:  Keith, Krystal, Kameron, Dylan, Ethan, Kate, Mary Kathryn, Emerson, Hadley; and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are these special nieces and nephews:  Amanda Gentry, Sierra Hayre, Whitney Philpot, Valerie Dixon, Patty Hayre, Heather Price, Chelsea Hubbard, Courtney Hayre, Hailey Price, Bella Price, Presley Philpot, Addison Dixon, Kayston Belcher, Monroe Hayre, Aaron Brown, Josh and Jarrod Murphy, and Patrick Hayre.  Also, one sister, Mattie Brown survives.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Cecil and June Murphy; these brothers and sisters:  Helen Murphy, Marie Hayre, Addie Philpot, James Murphy, Hurley Murphy, Betty Murphy , her nephews:  Anthony Hayre and John Philpot.

Funeral Services for Faye Edwards will be conducted on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Anthony Lovett and Rev. Joe Hall will be presiding.  She will be laid to rest in the Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, KY.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:30 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
