Our loving Mom Eva Couch was born on Friday, September 9, 1927 in Perry County, Saul, Kentucky to the union of the late Shifty Henry Couch and Cassie Barger Couch.

She departed this life on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the University of Kentucky Hospital at the age of 86 years. She was united in marriage to her loving husband, Amon Couch on Monday, May 21, 1945.

Our Mom was a member of the Mount Paran Baptist Church at Saul, Kentucky. She loved the Lord, her children, and her three sweet grandchildren, and she also loved music and sewing.

Eva is preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Cassie Couch, her husband: Amon Couch, her son: Abner Wayne Couch, and 6 brothers and 5 sisters: Owens Napier, Mannon Couch, Charlie Couch, Kimber Couch, Brownlow Couch, Abner Couch, Martha Couch, Mary Couch, Oda Couch, Hattie Woods, and Anna Jewell Begley.

Eva Couch leaves surviving her children: one son: Amon Wesley Couch and his wife Joy, three daughters: Glenna Sue Couch Hudson and her husband Darrell, Patty Lou Couch Maggard, and Ruby Couch, three precious grandchildren: Darrell Glenn Hudson, Cassie Kay Couch, and Hope Elizabeth Couch, and also a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services for Eva Couch will be conducted on Sunday, June 1, at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Rice, Pastor Chad Fugitt, Dr. Amon Couch, and David Hopper will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Haystack Cemetery in the Panco Community.

Visitation will begin on Saturday evening at 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
