Esther Curry

Esther Curry, age 76 of Hima went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born on Wednesday, September 29, 1937 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Isom and Lillie Jones Hollin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Crawfish Holiness Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sons: Jimmy Curry and his wife Charlotte and Forest Ross and his wife Ollie, 9 grandchildren: Johnny Curry, Crystal Root, David Collins, Christopher Collins, Jimmy Ross, Tony Ross, Lillie Ross, Isom Ross and Susan Sizemore, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, her brother: Clarence Hollin, and her husband: Johnny Jewell.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Isom and Lillie Hollin, her children: Frankie Lynn Curry and Joy Ann Curry, and her brothers and sisters: T. J. Hollin, Sudie Jewell, and Isom Hollin, Jr.

Funeral Services for Esther Curry will be conducted on Tuesday, September 30 at 2 PM at the Crawfish Holiness Church. Rev. Cecil Benge, Rev. George Roberts and Rev. James Wagers will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Herd Cemetery in the Sibert Community.

Visitation will begin after 6 PM on Monday at the Crawfish Holiness Church.
