Ellen Bowling

Ellen Bowling, age 88 of Town Branch Road in Manchester, passed away Friday, February 4th, 2011 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born October 18th, 1922 in Clay County, Kentucky to William Caldwell and Fannie Pennington McKissic. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Paul AME Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter: Alline Caldwell of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents: William Caldwell and Fannie McKissic, her husband, and 4 siblings: Daniel Caldwell, James Caldwell, William "Billy" Caldwell and John Wesley McKissic.

Funeral Services for Ellen Bowling will be held on Thursday, February 10th, 2011 at 12 PM at the St. Paul AME Methodist Church. Rev. Avis Thompson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 10th, after 10:30 AM at the St. Paul AME Methodist Church.
