Elena America Bolivar, age 78, passed away Wednesday, September 19 at the Heritage Nursing Home in Corbin, KY. She was born in Havana, Cuba on September 23, 1933 to Joe Napoles and Ignacia Rodriguez. She was a legal secretary for Fireman’s Fund for years before she retired. She was a member of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Ana Maria Collins of Manchester; 4 grandchildren: Rachel Collins, Lindsey Dyer, Jason Estrada, Laz Estrada, Jr.; 1 great grandson: Bentley Cruse. She is preceded in death by her son: Alfredo Bolivar, Jr. and her husband: Alfredo Bolivar.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
