Effie Lunsford

Mrs. Effie Lunsford, age 86, of Manchester passed away Wednesday, April 15th at her home. She is a homemaker and member of Liberty United Baptist Church.

She leaves surviving her husband, Hugh Lunsford and the following children: Peggy Deaton and husband Henry of Burning Springs; Bobbie Smith and husband Monte of Boise, Idaho; Hugh Lunsford, Jr. and wife, Pam of Laurel Creek; Norma Perrin and husband Pete of Manchester; Jennings Lunsford and wife Debbie of Laurel Creek and Kathryn Lunsford-Brown and husband John of Island Creek; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Also, one sister, Annie Sester of Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Lunsford and Isabelle (Cash) Lunsford; 1 grandchild: Shane Grubb; 3 brothers: Belve Lunsford, John Lunsford, Dewey Lunsford and 1 sister: Fannie Lunsford.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lunsford will be held Sunday, April 19th , 2009 at Liberty United Baptist Church at 2PM with the Rev. Chris Roberts and Rev. John Boley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lunsford Cemetery at Laurel Creek Community. Visitation will be Saturday, April 18th at 6PM at Rominger Funeral Home Chapel and after 1PM Sunday, April 19th at Liberty United Baptist Church before funeral time at 2PM.
