Doris Archolene "Archie" Stivers

Doris Archolene “Archie” Stivers age 85 was born on Wednesday, February 1, 1933 in Manchester, Kentucky to Robert Caudill and Susan Hensley Caudill Carnes.  She departed this life on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Landmark of Laurel Creek Nursing Facility.  She was a retired school teacher.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Diana Rowland and her husband Dwayne, Charles M. Stivers and his wife Tracy, Liz Stivers and William “Buck” Stivers and his wife Alene.  Also surviving are her grandchildren: Catherine Rowland Bullock and her husband Chad, Glendon Stivers and his wife Brittany, Chelsea Stivers Pennington and her husband Tyler, Christopher Stivers, Baylor Stivers, Eliza Clarkston, Lexie Owens, Bill Stivers and Emily Stivers and these great grandchildren: Brynlee Stivers, Peyton Pennington, Lincoln Pennington and Jay Griffin Bullock.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert Caudill and Susan Hensley Caudill Carnes and these siblings: Bobbie Ray Maples, Laverne Marcum, Alonzo Caudill and Charles Caudill.

The family of Archie Stivers will receive friends and loved ones on Friday evening from 6 until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.

There will be a memorial service conducted at a later time.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
