Della Valentine

Mrs. Della Valentine, age 61 of Gabbards Fork Road passed away Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 at her home. She was born March 8th, 1947 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Pearl & Laura Smith Mitchell. She was a homemaker & a member of the holiness church.

She is survived by her husband: Andrew Valentine, the following children: Carol Mathis of Goose Rock, Della Ann Sizemore of Goose Rock, Barbara Sue Smith of Island Creek, Ralph Jr. Hall of Laurel Creek, Elbert Wayne Hall of Island Creek, & Andrew Eversole, 11 Grandchildren, & 7 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are the following brothers & sisters: Arlie Mitchell of Goose Rock, Elbert Mitchell of Goose Rock, Abraham Mitchell of Goose Rock, Nora Patrick of Goose Rock, & Betty Faye Mathis of Jacks Branch.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Pearl & Laura Mitchell, 1 brother: G. C. Mitchell, & 1 sister: Nellie Patrick.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Della Valentine will be Monday, March 2nd, 2009 at 2 PM at the Billys Branch House of Prayer. Rev. Roscoe Roark & Rev. Sill Lee will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in the Billys Branch Community.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 28th, after 6 PM and Sunday, March 1st, at the Billys Branch House of Prayer.
