Della Mae Henson

Della Mae Henson, age 58 departed this life on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Baptist Health Lexington. She was born on Monday, February 28, 1966 in Hyden, Kentucky to Ace Jones and Sallie Wagers. She was a homemaker and attended Katies Creek United Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Jimmy Henson and these children: Rebecca Henson and fiancé James Brock, Melissa Hoskins, Randy Jones and Bradley Wagers; these grandchildren: Nicholas Wagers, Natalie Wagers, Bristal Jones, Bella Morris, Sativa Skye Jones, Lorelai Brock and a host of nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two brothers: Robert Jones and Curtis Jones.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ace Jones and Sallie Wagers; one sister: Pearlina Smith and her nephew: Anthony Smith.

Funeral Services for Della Mae Henson will be conducted on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel . Bro. Golden Smith, Jr. and Bro. Paul Mitchell will be presiding. She will be laid to rest in the Jones Cemetery in the Lost Fork Community. 

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday after 6:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
