Colonel T. C. Sizemore, age 94 of Manchester departed this life on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Laurel Creek Health Care Center. He was born on Tuesday, March 8, 1921 in Clay County, Kentucky to Carlo L. and Allie Jackson Sizemore. He was a newspaper editor in Booneville, Hyde, Jamestown and Manchester, he was a former Sheriff of Clay County, and was a veteran of the United States Army Airforce and United States Academy.
He leaves to mourn his passing his son: Thomas Sizemore of Nashville, Tennessee, 3 grandchildren: Daniel, Anthony, and Lelah Sizemore, several nieces and nephews including: special niece: Carolyn Smith, Phyllis Allen, Cecil Ray Martin, Bobbie Monopole, Daisy Bishop, Ray Lewis, Dewey Lewis, Larry, David, Michael Sayers, Shirley Sizemore, Linda and Betty Jo, Eva, Arthur, Ernest, and David Earl Sizemore, and his brother: Martin Curtis Sizemore of Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Carlo L. and Allie Sizemore, his son: Tim Sizemore, and these siblings: Edison, Shelby, Thelma, Vicie, Ford, Opal, and Lillie.
Funeral Services for Colonel T. C. Sizemore will be conducted on Thursday, December 31 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in the Asher's Fork Community.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
