Mrs. Christine Lyttle, age 90 of Manchester departed this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at her home. She was born on Thursday, October 10, 1929 in Perry County, Kentucky to Russell and Grace Edwards Baker. She was a bookkeeper and a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children: William Russell “Bill” Lyttle and his wife Donna, Deborah Ann Hacker and Paul David Lyttle, her daughter-in-law: Donna Lyttle and her grandchildren: Travis Steven Lyttle and his wife Kristen, Wesley Lloyd Lyttle and his wife Amanda, her step-grandchildren: B. G. Chesnut and her husband Keith, Glenn Russell Gregory and his wife Jammie and Jody Kellogg and her husband Travis. Also surviving are her great grandchildren: Patton Steven Lyttle and Kennedy Blake Lyttle and her step-great grandchildren: Travis Gregory, Ryan Kemp, Declan Kellogg, Colin Kellogg, Ryleigh Chesnut, Cayden Smith and Bailey Gregory as well as her sister: Ruth Leach and her husband Lloyd.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Russell and Grace Baker, her husband: Lloyd Lyttle, her son: Bert Steven Lyttle and her brother: Herman Baker.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Gideons International or the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
A celebration of life for Mrs. Christine Lyttle will be conducted on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church. Bro. Kenneth Felty, Bro. Dustin Sims and Lonnie Reppert will be presiding. She will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 1 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
