Charles McQueen

Charles McQueen, age 86 was ushered into the arms of Jesus surrounded by his beloved family on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Landmark of Laurel Creek. He was born on Tuesday, September 13, 1938 in Manchester, Kentucky to Charlie and Gracie (Bond) McQueen. He worked at Mid-South Electric and was a member of the Manchester Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Charles Michael McQueen and wife Fangmin, and Leslie Sizemore and husband Myrl; these grandchildren: Margaret Franceschelli and husband Joe and John Morgan Sizemore and fiancée Sophie Watkins; and two great grandchildren: Sofia and Victor Franceschelli. 

He is preceded in death by his parents: Charlie and Gracie McQueen; his wife: Margaret “Margie” McQueen and his sister: Thelma McQueen.

Graveside Service for Charles McQueen will be conducted on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Garrison Cemetery. Rev. Ken Bolin will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Garrison Cemetery in the Liberty Hills Community.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gideons International.
