Carol (Spurlock) Brown

Mrs. Carol Spurlock Brown, age 59 of Manchester departed this life on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the Hazard ARH.  She was born on Saturday, June 13, 1964 in Oneida, Kentucky to Harvey and Evelyn Spurlock.  She worked with Home Health and was a member of the Curry Branch Holiness Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband: Eddie Brown, her son: Jonathan Brown and his wife Nikki and her daughter: Bethany Brown and her friend Zach Smith.  Also surviving are her grandchildren: Aaliyah Brown, Amiyah Brown, Opal Purtlebaugh and Jay D. Stevens whom she loved as her own grandson as well as her mother: Evelyn Spurlock and her brother: Brian Russell Spurlock and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father: Harvey Spurlock.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Carol Spurlock Brown will be conducted on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Rick Holt will be presiding.  She will be laid to rest in the Walter Brown Cemetery on Walter Brown Cemetery Road in the Hooker Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday evening from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
