Brenda Sue Abner

Mrs. Brenda Sue Abner, age 62 of Manchester departed this life on Friday, November 15, 2019 at her home.  She was born on Thursday, June 6, 1957 in South Lyon, Michigan to Alvin C. and Anna Lee Asher York.  She was a data entry operator and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Larry Gene Abner of Fogertown, her daughters: Goldie Ann Bennett and her husband Jeff of Fogertown and Beverly Nicole Abner of Fogertown as well as her grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth Bennett and Caleb Joseph Bennett and her sister: Martha Zabbia and her husband Sam of La Place, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Alvin and Anna Lee York and her sister: Teresa Jane Bowling.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Brenda Sue Abner will be conducted on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 2 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church.  Rev. William “Mann” Cobb will be presiding.  She will be laid to rest in the Asher Cemetery in the Woollum Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday evening after 6:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
