Bobbie Jean Mills Hicks

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Mills Hicks, age 83 departed this life on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Landmark of Laurel Creek.  She was born on Thursday, October 10, 1935 in Stinking Creek, Kentucky to Clarence Hobert and Stella Mills.  She was co-owner Howard and Son Supermarket and a member of the Lyttleton Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Sandra L. Smallwood and her husband Gary and Connie J. Woods and her husband Oscar, her daughter-in-law: Peggy Hicks and her grandchildren: Jeremy Hicks and his wife Brandi of Barbourville, Nathan Hicks of Knoxville, Andrew Hicks and his wife Brittany of Barbourville, Sarah West and her husband Justin of Barbourville, Ashley Jean Jones of London, Jarrod West of London, Jessica Sizemore and Eric Woods and his wife Courtney.  Also surviving are her great grandchildren: Kendra, Tate, Clarkston, Abby Rae, Levi Joseph, Hunter, Ethan, Layton and Alexis as well as her sister: Peggy King.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Clarence Hobert and Stella Mills, her husband: Alton Ray Hicks, her son: Douglas Hicks, her grandson Trevor Hicks, her brother: James Mills and her sister: Alice Shelton.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Bobbie Jean Mills Hicks will be conducted on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Todd Hicks will be presiding.  She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband: Alton Ray Hicks in the Howard Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
