Boe is survived by his children, Nicholas (Brandy) Hampton of Seymour and Jordan (Matthew) Hubbard also of Seymour; grandchildren Presley Kate and Isaac Hampton and Lincoln Hubbard all of Seymour. He is also survived by Dalona (Swider) Hampton, spouse of 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alberta Slone of Manchester, Kentucky.

Boe attended Clay County High School in Manchester, Kentucky before moving to Jackson County, Indiana. After working hard as a young man in various jobs in auto and at Cummins Engine Co, he saved to open his own business, Boe and Son Body Shop and Towing in Seymour. After 20 years of success with a great team of individuals by his side, he “retired” in 2003. In his semi-retirement he found additional ventures with his children in Hampton Car & Truck, Hampton Towing and various areas of real estate. Boe’s favorite hobby was his work and anything to do with automobiles. Later in life he found joy in kayaking and in spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren. Boe never met a stranger and although he did not always wear it on his sleeve, to those who knew him well, he will be remembered for his very caring and generous heart.
