Baxter Henson

Baxter Henson, age 74 of Burning Springs passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, April 30, 1950 in Manchester, Kentucky to Bill and Georgie (Gray) Henson. He worked for Mid-South Electric for 34 years and was a member of the Horse Creek Holiness Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife: Katherine (Scalf) Henson, his son: Sam Henson and his wife Elizabeth of Manchester, his grandchildren: Cory Collins and Tori Paige Henson of Manchester, his great grandchild: Raylee Jo Collins as well as his brothers and sisters: Bobby Jo Henson and his wife: Loretta of Manchester, Bill Henson, Jr. and his wife Linda of Manchester, Robin Henson and his wife Sonya of Manchester, Josephine Smith of Manchester and Loretta Gilbert of Manchester. Also surviving is his sisters-in-law: Diane Henson, Mary Casao and husband C, Mickie Yonce and Joyce Smith and his brothers-in-law: Kevin Scalf and his wife Yalanda and Donnie Scalf and his wife Beverly.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Bill and Georgie Henson, his brothers: Henry Henson and Charles Henson and his sister: Geneva Henson.

Funeral Services for Baxter Henson will be conducted on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Terry Reed and Rev. Kevin Scalf will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery in the Shepherdtown Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
